Terrific Broth II is a proprietary reformulation of the classic Terrific Broth rich medium for high density growth of E. Coli cells and higher yields of plasmid DNA without the need of antibiotic amplification. Similar in functin to CIRCLEGROW™ Terrific Broth II is a single powder mixture that eliminates the 2 part preparation method of the original Terrific Broth formulation.

| Preparation Method | Reagents are tested and chosen for their ability to promote optimum growth of E. coli when combined in Terrific Broth II formulations. Chosen reagents are combined in the accurate proportions according to the formula and thoroughly blended for a uniform distribution. A sample of the blended formulation was used to prepare liquid. The combinations were mixed to dissolve components and autoclaved at 121 °C for 15 minutes. |
