Product Description

Clozapine

Application Notes

Clozapine has dopamine receptor blocking activity, α-adrenergic blocking, antimuscarinic, antihistamine, and antiserotonergic properties. The role of clozapine in reversing the inhibitory effect of dopamine on sodium and water transport in the rat cortical collecting duct has been reviewed. Clozapine has been used to probe the role of the calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinase II in NMDA-induced inward currents and electrically evoked excitatory postsynaptic currents in mouse brain sections, cultured mouse cells, and transgenic mice.
